Crystal Clear Architectural Metal and Glass Erectors, Inc. was founded in June of 1992 by Mr. Gary Tharp. Mr. Tharp brings with him over 33 years of experience.
After attending college in San Antonio, Texas, Gary applied for the Local 1778 Union Glazier and Glass Workers apprenticeship program in Houston, Texas. Gary spent 4 years in Houston where he completed his apprenticeship training and became a full journeyman glazier.
Gary spent the next several years traveling, working and gaining experience with several large, union, glass and glazing contractors, in such cities as Los Angeles, Kansas City, and Miami. Work then brought Gary to Cleveland, Ohio in 1987 where he worked within the Local 181 Glaziers Union on such projects as The Society Building, The Renaissance Building and The Cleveland Clinic.
In June of 1992, Gary founded Crystal Clear Architectural Metal and Glass Erectors, Inc. Over the past 22 years, Crystal Clear has completed a multitude of projects, some of which include portions of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, The V.A. Hospital, and A.J. Celebreeze Federal Building.
